Pre-Conference Library Tours

We have created a series of tours to provide delegates with a behind-the-scenes look at a variety of libraries and related sites. Delegates will be able to view rare collections, or hear about the latest innovations, initiatives, trends, practices and workflows that may have practical application for their own work.

Tours will depart at various times on Tuesday 9 October from the State Library of Victoria, 328 Swanston Street Melbourne. A variety of transport options will be used. Two volunteers will lead each tour group and they will be able to help delegates purchase public transport tickets (Metcards) if required. Please refer to the detail in the summaries below.
